SIZZLING HOT!!!!

This book will definitely heat up all those long cold winter nights. Not just a warm comfy blanket type of warmth, but a rip roaring sizzling flame type of warmth. Morina Morgan and Pete Altman had been attracted to one another since the moment they lay eyes on one another. He was a play boy and she was the girl who didn't want anything to do with his charming ways. BUT, that all changed one evening when they both got caught up in a blizzard. The question as you read this short tale of pleasure, will their relationship make it past the one night? Will they share any more Christmas times together? Will the pair become one once again? Guess y'all have to read and find out. This is one read you don't want to pass up. Gather up the fans to cool yourself off after you indulge into some intense pleasure.

I received this copy for an honest review.
Morina Morgan had been avoiding the real estate mogul, Pete Altman. She knew he was a womanizer and wanted nothing to do with him. Well, he wanted her. So with his sister's help he got Morina to go to DC when a snow storm was to hit to meet with him over some property. This was just to get her there. When he made him way to the house, he undressed and she was amazed at the site. They made love hot and heavy something that he had never done before. He had just had sex, but this was different. They tried at least fifty different way to enjoy each other that were in the Kama Sutra. When they could leave it was a week later and then I leave you with guessing what happens. Ju really knows how to hold you attention when reading.

Morina and Pete met a few years ago and have liked each other ever since, but they decided not to do anything about it. Well, Morina actually did because she was scared to let herself fall for him. Pete, on the other hand did everything in his power to get with Morina. He just could not get her out of his mind and desperately wanted to know if his feelings for her ran deeper than what the eye could meet. So when fate presented a chance for him to find out, he took more than advantage of the situation and finally got what he had been after. Just as expected sparks flew ... hot enough that it could have set the house on fire. If you like steamy romance novels and currently looking for a new read, I would definitely give this book a try.

Don't be misled by the humor in this book, it is a thoughtful and insightful look at relationships from an experienced couples therapist, Trevor Silvester. Trevor brings together elements of the NLP model of Preferred Representational Systems and Simple Metaprograms to outline 8 'lovebird' types. He sets out how these types love, their strengths and potential blind spots in relationships. Also how they interact with other Lovebird types. The principles are illustrated with examples and anecdotes, often humorous, which makes them even more memorable.

I have used Trevor's model to explain personality differences to couples who are experiencing relationship problems and they have all found it helpful. Also interesting for those embarking on new relationships who want to learn more about themselves before they leap in.

Love this book!

I highly recommend this book. It is a must read for all kinds of couples in any stage of the game. This book gave me some really great pointers of what I can do to improve my marriage, but more importantly it gave me a deeper understanding of myself and WHY I think the way I think... and that the way I think (though similar because we are both Swans) is different than the way my husband thinks (since my Kingfisher side gets in the way a little). And guess what... That's perfectly normal and fine! We just need to recognize that and find the best way for US and OUR Lovebirds to build the happiest nest we can.

I love regency romances! I've read several of this author's books and liked most of them. This book was ok. The premise - war veteran and amputee comes to the rescue of his childhood friend by pretending to be her fiancé - was mildly intriguing. The heroine, Miss Daphne Vaughan, was a bit too self-righteously charitable for me. The hero, Major Bartholomew Blackpool, was a bit too self-pitying for me. They didn't have much chemistry. The storyline was simple and predictable. I usually enjoy the author's writing style, but this book was 2-3 pages of innermost thoughts for every 1 page of action and dialogue. Overall, not a bad book, but not a favorite either.

About the Author
Christopher J. Wild, PhD, Professor of Statistics University of Auckland. A Fellow of the American Statistical Association and Royal Society of New Zealand Chris Wild works on developing methods for modelling response-selective data (e.g. case-control studies) and missing data problems, and in statistics education with particular emphasis on statistical thinking and reasoning processes.

George A. F. Seber, PhD, Dip. Counsel. is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. A Fellow of the New Zealand Royal Society and recipient of the Hector Medal in Science by the NZ Royal Society, he is the author or coauthor of 15 statistical books and an extensive book on counselling.  His research interests have included linear and nonlinear modeling, multivariate analysis,  statistical ecology, genetics, epidemiology, and adaptive sampling.
